THE Swapo Party Ongwediva District conference has successfully concluded, resulting in the election of seven candidates who will represent the party in the upcoming Regional and Local Authority elections scheduled for November.
The candidates selected by the conference include Juliana Haimbodi, Jeremiah Amutenya, Priscilla Hailulu, Jason Mwalengwa (Denges), Naemi Amuthenu, George Fabian, and Eveline Ekandjo.
The slate of candidates features a blend of experience and new representation, including Jeremiah Amutenya, who currently serves as the Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) District Secretary, and Priscilla Hailulu, a former SPYL District Secretary.
The conference’s objective was to assemble a strong team to compete in the November elections and advance the party’s agenda for the Ongwediva District.
