The National Assembly has announced a change to the previously communicated programme for the Indian Prime Minister’s official visit. As part of his visit to Namibia, His Excellency Prime Minister Narendra Modi will now address the National Assembly of the Republic of Namibia, instead of a Joint Sitting of Parliament as initially planned. The address will take place as scheduled on Wednesday, 9 July 2025, at 16:00 at the Parliament building in Windhoek.
