THE MTC Wine Extravaganza is making its highly anticipated return to Ongwediva for its second spectacular year, promising an even grander experience.
The event is scheduled for 11–12 July 2025 at the Ongwediva Trade Fair Centre.
Event organizer Chris Coetzee said this year’s event boasts an unlimited wine-tasting journey filled with discovery, good vibes, and unforgettable moments.
According to Coetzee, this year’s extravaganza will be even more extraordinary.
He indicated that wine enthusiasts can look forward to a nearly 30% increase in participating wineries, offering an expanded selection of both new and returning vineyards.
“We have new wines in there, we have some of the old wine farms, and this will be a very unique opportunity where you have the chance to taste some of the finest wines from Southern Africa’s very best producers,” he said.
He stressed that the MTC Wine Extravaganza has earned its place among Namibia’s most anticipated and prestigious calendar events.
“It’s going to take everybody’s breath away—it’s really going to be something very, very special. It’s a great evening for the ladies to show their elegant looks, and for the gentlemen to wear their tuxedos,” he added.
Coetzee indicated that the success of the MTC Wine Extravaganza is a testament to a flourishing partnership. It has been the most successful partnership event with MTC, both in Windhoek and Ongwediva, bringing so many people together.
