Her Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia conveys a message of condolences to Honourable Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and the people of India following an Air India Plane Crash in Western India.
In her message of condolences, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says:
“I have learned with utmost shock about the tragic Air India Jet:AI171 crash near Ahmedabad Airport, Western India, in which majority of passengers and crew members appear to have lost their lives. This unfortunate crash is not only an air disaster that saddens the Indian people and all other nationalities on board of the aircraft, but also pains the Namibian people, who have forged strong bonds of friendship and cooperation with India. During this terrible hour of sorrow, the Namibian people feel the pain of the Indian people and all those who have been
affected by it.
On behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Namibia and indeed on my own behalf, I extend sincere condolences to Prime Minister Modi, the Indian people and the families affected by this horrendous air crash.”
