ANOTHER cold morning is expected across most parts of the country today, although temperatures are not forecast to drop as low as in recent days, when several areas recorded sub-zero temperatures.

According to the Namibia Meteorological Services, frost is still anticipated in various regions this morning. The coldest conditions are expected in the south, particularly in Aroab, Aus, Karasburg, and Keetmanshoop in the //Kharas Region, where minimum temperatures are forecast to range between -1°C and 1°C.

Windhoek is expected to see a minimum of around 3°C, Rehoboth in the Hardap Region around 2°C, and Grootfontein in the Otjozondjupa Region also around 2°C, according to the forecast.

Unlike the past few days, no further rain is expected in the south today, according to Namibia Meteorological Services.

While today is not expected to be as cold as Monday morning in most interior areas, the Namibia Meteorological Services still urge the public, small-stock farmers, and nurseries to take necessary precautions to protect themselves, animals, and plants from the cold.
