THE Namibian Police (NamPol) in the Khomas Region is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two individuals who went missing in April: Fimaneka Tobias Hembapu (18) and Jan Bron (41).

NamPol’s Head of Public Relations, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, stated that 18-year-old Hembapu was last seen in Greenwell Matongo, Windhoek, on Friday, 18 April 2025, at around 12:00. He is an Oshiwambo speaker and approximately 1.70 metres tall.

According to Shikwambi, prior to Hembapu’s disappearance, his father was informed that he and his sister had been involved in an argument. His father immediately returned home to intervene. However, after leaving them at home, he was later informed that Hembapu had left and has not returned since.

With regard to Bron, Shikwambi revealed that he was last seen in Pendukeni Street, Greenwell Matongo, Windhoek, on Friday, 25 April 2025, at around 22:00. He is a Khoekhoegowab speaker and had a panga hairstyle at the time of his disappearance. Shikwambi said he was last seen wearing blue jeans, a yellow T-shirt, a black polo neck, and black Adidas sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of either individual is urged to report it to the nearest police station or contact Detective Inspector Sinvula on 081 369 1869 or Warrant Officer Akushika on 081 252 5252.
