THE Namibia Water Corporation (NamWater) has announced the restoration of water supply to Ondangwa, Oniipa, and Omuthiya towns, as well as the surrounding constituencies in the Oshikoto Region, following the successful completion of repairs on the Ondangwa-Omutsegwonime pipeline.
The pipeline burst near Oniipa on Saturday evening, and NamWater’s maintenance team has since been on-site until the repairs were finally completed on Monday to Tuesday night.
“Normal water supply has been fully restored to all affected areas,” said Lot Ndamanomhata, NamWater’s head of public relations and corporate communications.
