BONIFATIUS Petrus, a 47-year-old resident of Ondiamande village in the Uukwiyuushona Constituency, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his sleeping room. His body was found by his sister, who went to check on him after he failed to wake up early to work in the field as he usually does.
A suicide note was found on top of his bed, stating who should inherit his cattle and also including texts from the Bible.
