LIGHT to moderate showers have affected several southern areas this week, particularly on Tuesday and Wednesday, with more rain expected in the South on Friday.
The southern areas that recently experienced rainfall include Keetmanshoop, Asab, and Kirchberg in the //Kharas Region, as well as Rehoboth and Mariental in the Hardap Region. These showers have been captured and shared on social media, allowing rain-loving Namibians to appreciate the recent southern rains.
Further rainfall is expected in some southern areas, with the Namibia Meteorological Services highlighting the south-eastern regions in particular as likely to experience rain tomorrow.
However, it is not just the south that will see rainfall on Friday.
The Namibia Meteorological Services has predicted that the central and northern areas are also likely to experience more rain showers tomorrow. Rundu and Ondangwa were identified as some of the places expected to receive rainfall.
