NAMIBIAN rapper Allain Villet, aged 37, from the internationally renowned music group Black Vulcanite, committed suicide over the past weekend.

According to Chief Inspector Elifas Kuwinga, public relations officer within the Namibian police, the incident happened on Saturday, 25 January 2025, at around 11:00 at a house in Windhoek.
“It’s alleged that a Namibian male, 37 years old, was found in his room tied with a belt around his neck in a sitting position. He left a note that read, ‘I’m sorry.’ He was found by his mother in the same house. The mother noticed the deceased first, tried to remove him from the belt, and contacted E-Med Rescue. E-Med declared him dead at around 13:31,” Kuwinga said.
He added that the deceased was taken to the police mortuary. The next of kin has been informed.
