A glimpse into the Ohangwena region results

RESULTS from yesterday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections have started trickling in from all corners of the country. Early results from three polling stations in the Endola Constituency of the Ohangwena Region show SWAPO and its presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, leading, followed by IPC and Panduleni Itula.

The AR comes in a distant third at all three polling stations, though Job Amupanda only ranked third at two of them, as he was surpassed by Thomas Festus of the Body of Christ Party (BCP) at the third polling station.


The results are as follows:

-Panduleni Itula: 98
-Job Amupanda: 11

-AR: 25

Ohambelelo CS: Presidential
-Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah: 416
-Panduleni Itula: 96
-Job Amupanda: 6

Ohambelelo CS: National Assembly
-SWAPO: 379
-IPC: 92
-AR: 27

Ohalushu CS: Presidential
-Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah: 476
-Panduleni Itula: 146
-Thomas Festus: 10

Ohalushu CS: National Assembly
-SWAPO: 376
-IPC: 121
-AR: 39

Other presidential candidates and political parties received between zero and 10 votes each across these three polling stations.
