RESULTS continue to come in locally as polling stations closed on Wednesday evening and the counting of ballot papers immediately began.
Results from Ondangwa Urban at the town’s Oluno Community Hall, where the second polling station was set up in the Oshana Region, showed a majority favoring SWAPO Party Presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah with 406 votes.
She was followed by Panduleni Itula with 192 votes.
Job Amupanda received 43 votes, McHenry Venaani 15 votes, while Vaino Amuthenu, Bernadus Swartbooi, and Epafras Mukwilongo each gained three votes.
Additionally, Festus Thomas, Amos Likuwa, Ambrosius Kumbwa, and Mike Kavekotora each received one vote.
