A 34-YEAR-OLD woman, identified as Ndahekelekwa Katenda, died in a car accident near Keetmanshoop after being thrown from a vehicle.
According to the weekend crime report, the incident occurred on 8 November 2024 at around 19:00, on the C17 road between Keetmanshoop and Koes, approximately 68 km from Keetmanshoop.
It is alleged that the driver of a white double-cab Ford Ranger, with three occupants at the time, lost control of the vehicle on a curve. The vehicle went off the road, overturned, and rolled several times. Katenda was reportedly thrown from the car and succumbed to her injuries. The driver and the other passenger were admitted to the Keetmanshoop State Hospital for treatment. The deceased’s next of kin have been informed, and the police investigation continues.
