LUCKY OTJOZONDJUPA: Several areas in the Otjozondjupa Region received generous rainfall on Wednesday, including areas in and around Grootfontein, Otjiwarongo, Okakarara, and Klein-Waterberg. Farms Sukses and Doornkom, near Otjiwarongo, stood out in this regard, with rainfall measurements ranging from 20 to 40 millimetres (mm) on Wednesday. Photos and videos of the rainfall in these areas have been widely shared and appreciated online. Some northern areas, such as Rundu in the Kavango East Region and Tsumeb in the Oshikoto Region, also experienced light rain on Wednesday. According to Namibia Meteorological Services, additional rainfall is expected in parts of the north, including Rundu and Ondangwa, today and/or tomorrow. Rain is also forecasted for the south-western interior today, while central areas like Windhoek are likely to see rain tomorrow.
