GREEN HYDROGEN MILESTONE: President Nangolo Mbumba officially inaugurated the Daures Green Hydrogen Agriculture Project, Africa’s first green hydrogen village, which aims to profile hydrogen use and explore the feasibility of the village on a semi-industrial scale. The president highlighted the project, located in the Erongo Region, as a testament that “in Namibia, things can be done.” He emphasised that such projects inspire courage and hope, reaffirming Namibia’s identity as the Land of the Brave. President Mbumba stressed that the future belongs to the youth and urged them to prepare by acquiring new skills and knowledge. He also expressed his gratitude that the late President Hage Geingob continues to be recognised for steering Namibia towards green hydrogen development. “Without his leadership, we could not have achieved this,” he emphasised.
