POLICE in the Erongo region are asking for public assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old girl identified as Cassie !Achas.
According to Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula of the Erongo Police, !Achas is a Grade 9 learner at West Side High School in Swakopmund.
“Cassie was last seen at her aunt’s residence on Saturday, 5 October 2024, at 10:00. She was last seen wearing grey jeans, a black t-shirt with ‘Mr. Price’ written on the chest, black Havaianas sandals, and she has long dark brown braids,” Shomongula said.
She added that the missing girl communicated with her aunt yesterday, stating that she would return home, but she did not, nor did she reveal her whereabouts, and her phone is currently off.
She is dark in complexion with an average body and height.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is kindly requested to contact her aunt, Helvi Senorita Auchas, at 081 608 6589, Detective Warrant Officer (1) Cletius Kabuku at 081 391 0671, or the nearest police station.
Police investigations continue.
