THE Namibian Police (NamPol) is requesting the public’s assistance to find Apolonia Mingana Sheehama (34), who has been missing since March 2022.
According to NamPol’s Head of Public Relations, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, Sheehama allegedly left her home in Otjomuise, Windhoek, in March 2022 to attend a workshop in the same area, but she failed to return home.
“Previous attempts to trace her whereabouts through various media platforms did not yield any positive results,” Shikwambi added.
She revealed that Sheehama speaks Oshiwambo, English, Afrikaans, Damara-Nama, and Portuguese. Shikwambi described Sheehama as being of brown complexion, 1.67 m tall, and last seen with long braided dreadlocks.
Sheehama has also previously gone missing, with incidents reported in 2015 and again in 2018.
Anyone with information on Sheehama’s whereabouts is urged to report to the nearest police station or contact Detective Sergeant Neumbo on 081 482 5164 or Sheehama’s mother on 081 278 1282.
