SEVERAL central, eastern, and northern areas are expected to experience scattered showers on Thursday, while moderate to heavy rainfall is predicted for the central, western, and southern regions starting from Friday.

According to Namibia Meteorological Services, Thursday’s rainfall is expected to primarily affect the central northern regions, as well as the Kunene, Erongo, Otjozondjupa, Khomas, and Omaheke regions. Rundu, Ondangwa, and Windhoek have been identified as some of the places likely to see rainfall on Thursday.
These conditions are expected to be accompanied by windy weather, which is predicted to persist over the interior on Thursday. Furthermore, Namibia Meteorological Services predicted that the coast will not be excluded from Thursday’s rainfall, with a few showers expected, particularly in the northern coastal areas, along with patches of fog.
From Friday, however, moderate to heavy falls are expected over the central highlands and the Erongo Region. These showers are expected to spread to the Hardap and //Kharas regions over the weekend. Namibia Meteorological Services highlighted Ondangwa and Windhoek as places likely to receive rainfall again on Friday, while Keetmanshoop is expected to experience rainfall on Saturday.
