THE Anglican Youth Northern Region will be hosting its annual youth conference and commemorating the region’s 34th anniversary.
The conference is scheduled for 12-15 September 2024 at St. Cyprian Anglican Church Parish in Tsumeb.
Anglican Youth Northern Deputy Secretary, Jerobeam Hipunyati-Meitavelo Haukuti, said that the conference is expected to be attended by about 1,000 youth from the northern Anglican congregations.

According to Haukuti, the conference will feature Bible studies and various activities, including singing competitions, Bible examinations, a flag march through the streets of Tsumeb on Saturday, and cultural dramas.
“We are honoured to have Tsumeb Mayor Mathews Hangula and the Tsumeb Station Commander grace our conference,” he said.
He added that they will also be addressed by the Archdeacon of Tsumeb Archdeaconry and the Diocesan Youth President.
Haukuti mentioned that the conference will be officially opened by Bishop Patrick Djuulume.
