JUST IN: Lawyer Kadhila Amoomo has said that the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF) political party won an urgent application to set aside the decision by the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) to deregister the party. This has subsequently resulted in the party being re-registered as a political party. Amoomo added that this will enable the party to take part in the upcoming elections, if not met with further opposition by the ECN. The NEFF was deregistered on 17th June 2024 for failing to submit its audited financials on time.
