THE International University of Management (IUM) has announced that the Eenhana campus is nearing completion, with an official inauguration scheduled for late October 2024.
Construction work on the Eenhana campus started in 2022.
IUM Director for Marketing, Communication, and Stakeholder Engagement, Gerry Munyama, during a media briefing held on Monday at Eenhana, said that they expect to commence full academic programs next year.

Munyama indicated that this will be IUM’s fifth campus across the country.
“This significant expansion highlights IUM’s steadfast dedication to equipping every Namibian with the critical skills and knowledge needed to actively shape and lead a shared economy,” he said.
He added that with this new campus, IUM aims to transform education into a catalyst for national development, ensuring that every Namibian is empowered in the pursuit of economic and social progress.
Munyama said that the Eenhana campus stands as a powerful embodiment of this vision—a beacon of hope, progress, and a catalyst for a brighter, more prosperous future for the region.
“Our goal is to bring educational opportunities closer to communities, empowering students to develop local solutions and drive regional economic growth,” he added.
Munyama said that the establishment of the Eenhana campus represents a significant milestone in their mission to decentralize higher education and stimulate regional development. By expanding their reach to Eenhana, they aim to reduce the need for students to travel to Windhoek, thereby alleviating the associated costs of accommodation and transportation.
Further, he said that in recognition of the financial challenges many students face, they are pleased to include a hostel facility on the Eenhana campus. This will provide affordable and convenient housing, further supporting the students’ success and well-being.
The campus will offer a diverse range of courses, including: Certificate in Water Resources Management (NQF Level 5), Certificate in Transport and Logistics Management (NQF Level 5), Certificate in Business Administration (NQF Level 5), Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NQF Level 5), Certificate in Health and Wellness Studies (NQF Level 5), Diploma in Health and Wellness Studies (NQF Level 6), Bachelor of Nursing Honours (NQF Level 8), Postgraduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management (NQF Level 8), Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (NQF Level 8), and Master of Nursing Science (NQF Level 9).
He then indicated that they eagerly anticipate the opening of the Eenhana campus and the arrival of their first student cohort in January 2025.
