A SUSPECTED drug dealer was arrested at Ehenye in Oshakati East on Thursday afternoon. He was allegedly found in possession of sixteen grams of cocaine powder worth about N$8,000 and a cash amount of N$8,000 believed to be proceeds of crime.
According to the police, law enforcement agents were tipped off about a man who was in possession of, and selling, cocaine in his vehicle. An operation was conducted, leading to the arrest of the 52-year-old suspect.
“He will be charged on Friday and will appear in the Oshakati Magistrate’s court on Monday,” said Chief Inspector Thomas Aiyambo.
