THE Veteran Life Sports Club, a football team based in the Ohangwena Region, is expected to participate in social games being held in Livingston, Zambia, next month.
The games are scheduled for August 22-27 in Livingston.
The event will also include a training program, sports management workshop, sport foundation process, sport academy, and coaching clinic in different sports codes.
Team Chairperson Sammy Mushelenga indicated that they were invited by the Livingston Swindon Community Football Foundation Coaches Social Veterans team.
According to Mushelenga, this is an exciting opportunity for them to learn from their counterparts in Zambia and hopefully exchange knowledge.
“The team consists of approximately 20 players who are willing to travel to Zambia for the sports activities,” he said.
He added that the team is expected to travel on August 21 and return on August 28, 2024.
