President Nangolo Mbumba has extended his condolences following the passing of former Windhoek West Constituency Councillor, György Trepper.
“I have learned with sadness about the passing of Comrade György Trepper, councillor for the Windhoek West constituency. Councillor Trepper served the residents of his constituency with utmost dedication between 2014 and 2020,” the president said.
He described Trepper as highly accessible to the residents, highlighting that he will be remembered for his commitment to the development of his constituency of Windhoek West, Windhoek, and the country at large.
“On behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Namibia, I extend condolences to his wife, the family, and the SWAPO Party, which lost a committed and dependable comrade,” President Mbumba added.
