ARMED ROBBERY: The Erongo Police have confirmed an armed robbery incident reported at BIG Deal Cash and Carry in Walvis Bay. Chief Inspector Illeni Shapumba of the Erongo Police said that no injuries were reported and no money was stolen. However, it was reported that one 9mm pistol and a Huawei cellphone were stolen from a security officer. The suspects used a getaway car, a silver Honda Fit with registration N296898 WB. “Police are attending to the matter,” Shapumba said.
