PRESIDENT Nangolo Mbumba will host H.E. President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana for a working visit to the Republic of Namibia from 2-5 July 2024.
During his working visit, President Masisi will participate in the Swakopmund International Trade Expo (SWAITEX) as the guest of honour. The expo will be held under the theme “Efficient Connectivity and Resource Beneficiation for Sustainable Growth in Africa.”
Following the official opening of SWAITEX, the two Heads of State are expected to visit the Namibia Ports Authority (Namport) and the Botswana Dry Port Facility in Walvis Bay. On 4 July 2024, President Nangolo Mbumba and President Mokgweetsi Masisi will engage in official talks on various matters aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations. Additionally, the official talks will serve as a unique platform for exchanging views on multilateral issues of mutual interest and concern.
H.E. President Mokgweetsi Masisi will be accompanied by His Honour, Slumber Tsogwane, Vice-President of the Republic of Botswana, and senior ministers of the Government of the Republic of Botswana.
