A WHITE Toyota Corolla (N18761ND), which was stolen from Ondangwa during the night from Friday to Saturday, has been recovered in southern Angola thanks to prompt action by the Namibian police in collaboration with their Angolan counterparts.
Ndjoba Hans Ndatipohamba, a 34-year-old resident of Ondangwa’s Extension 6, informed the police that he parked his car at home on Friday evening but did not find it there the next morning. Two pairs of footprints were found at the scene, indicating that two suspects pushed the N$40,000 vehicle out of the yard before driving it away.
According to the police, the vehicle was later recovered in Angola.
