AN APPARENTLY speeding Nissan Note (N24422SH) crashed into another vehicle (N75905W), causing the driver of the second car to lose control. The out-of-control vehicle swerved into a repair shop on Oshakati’s main street on Wednesday afternoon.
No one was injured, but the shack that serves as a repair shop for generators, water pumps, and concrete mixers was badly damaged, as was the vehicle that crashed into it. Several devices that were being repaired were also damaged.
The accident occurred at a T-junction on the Evululuko (southern) side of the road, but both vehicles ended up on the Oneshila (northern) side of the road.
Eyewitnesses said that the accident happened because a Nissan Note, coming from the Evululuko direction, failed to stop at the T-junction and crashed into another car coming from the direction of Ongwediva.
