THE Namibia Football Association (NFA) has appointed Charles Siyauya as its new General Secretary, a position he will hold for the next five years.
The announcement was made by NFA President Robert Shimooshili alongside his executive council during a meeting held in Gobabis.
Siyauya holds a strong track record and experience in leadership, along with impressive academic qualifications such as a Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies and a Bachelor of Education.

Shimooshili said that they are confident Siyauya is the best person to lead the NFA into a new era.
“His experience, vision, and academic background will be invaluable as we work to develop and grow the game of football in Namibia, taking it to all corners of the country and enhancing its commercial value for the benefit of all stakeholders,” he said.
He stressed that under Siyauya’s leadership, the NFA will be able to achieve great things.
Siyauya had previously served as Administrator of the UNAM Campus in Katima Mulilo. He also held leadership positions at the University of Namibia (UNAM), including Coordinator of International Relations, Personal Assistant to the UNAM Vice Chancellor, and Administrator of International Student Affairs.
These diverse experiences demonstrate his strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
