UPLIFT THE YOUTH WITH RESOURCES: Gerson Guelrirab, tour guide, Project coordinator of Okombahe Heritage projects and conservationist gave a tour to the media of the Erongo Mountains. He spoke on preservation of the area and called for provisions to be made for the youth to earn a livelihood from fauna and flora, San art as well as raw minerals in the area. He called on government to invest in machinery to assist small scale miners in the area that mine stones. “When I decided to call it a day I decided to come back home. I’m 57. I wish to assist the community. The late President Dr. Hage Geingob gave us pride.His funeral showed us that we should take pride and be as one as a nation. The history of this place is very deep. It could take up to four hours if I should speak of it all,” Gurirab said.
