SWAKOPMUND Municipality’s Emergency and Law Enforcement Division has made efforts to enhance the town’s safety with the introduction of a new toll-free emergency hotline, 1411.
“Whether it’s a medical emergency, fire incident, or any other crisis, our trained professionals are here to assist you with the utmost care and expertise,” the municipality assured.
The municipality explained that the number is free to use and aims to ensure that emergency services reach the necessary individuals promptly.
In case of an emergency, the municipality advises residents and visitors to dial the toll-free number and provide precise details, including their exact location, street name, the number of fatalities or injuries, the type of incident, and whether they require ambulance or fire assistance.
“Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and this toll-free number is now at your disposal 24/7, ready to assist you in times of need,” the municipality added.
