LEARNERS at Otala Combined School in the Oshana Region have been urged to prioritize their studies and set their sights on achieving success in life.

Oshana Governor Elia Irimari conveyed this message during his inaugural visit to the school, encouraging the learners to dedicate themselves to their studies and maintain personal hygiene. He emphasized the importance of recognizing their abilities and nurturing their talents.

“Take every lesson to heart and develop practical skills. Never underestimate the value of your teachers, as they lay the groundwork for your future,” he remarked.

Irimari also reminded the learners that setbacks are inevitable but urged them to persevere. “Even if you stumble, rise with determination, brush off the disappointments, and forge ahead,” he advised.

He encouraged the learners to hold fast to their dreams, emphasizing that their aspirations are key to improving their lives.

Furthermore, Irimari stressed the significance of maintaining cleanliness, both personally and within the school environment. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that uniforms, shoes, hair, and nails are tidy, enabling students to focus on their studies.

Additionally, he urged the learners to express gratitude for the amenities provided by the school, including access to water, electricity, and multilingual teachers dedicated to their education.

“Respect your teachers, heed their guidance, and appreciate their efforts, as one day you will assume similar responsibilities in educating future generations,” he concluded.
