A MINOR boy died instantly after falling into a sewage dam and drowning at Otavi.
The deceased was identified as Jimmy Renaltus Gubeb (9).
Otjozondjupa Community Affairs Officer Maureen Mbeha said the incident occurred around 15h40 on Thursday, and an inquest into the matter has thus far been opened.
Mbeha mentioned that the next of kin are informed, and police investigations continue.
