HENDRICK Johann Cloete, 55, allegedly died after falling from a building that he was allegedly painting in the Omusati Region.
Omusati Regional Commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson, said the incident occurred around 12h04 on Monday at the Onamhindi village in the Etayi Constituency.
“It is alleged that the deceased fell from a building while he was busy painting and sustained head injuries. He was then taken to Onandjaba Health Centre where he was referred to Oshikuku catholic hospital and again to Oshakati Hospital where he passed on Tuesday,” he said.
Basson indicated that the deceased is originally from Rehoboth, and has been a local painter around Onandjaba Settlement and nearby villages.
