An Angolan street vendor tragically lost her life while trying to run away from an Immigration vehicle.
The incident took place on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at approximately 16:48 near Furnmart store in Outapi town, Omusati Region.
According to preliminary reports, the woman was busy selling her items when she spotted an immigration vehicle approaching. In a fearful attempt to escape, she fled from the scene but however, her escape was short-lived as she suddenly collapsed and tragically lost her life on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as a 40-year-old Angolan woman hailing from Santa Clara, Angola.
Authorities have already informed the next of kin and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
