TWO boys, aged 12 and 13, are alleged to have gang-raped their six-year-old neighbour in Otulupa location, within the Olukonda Constituency.
The incident, which occurred on Friday, was reported to the police by the victim’s mother.
Oshikoto Police Commander, Commissioner Teopolina Kalompo-Nashikaku, said that the suspects and the victim were reportedly playing in the premises of their respective houses (flats).
“It is alleged that the suspects lured the victim behind one of the houses, pretending to take her to meet one of her friends there, and then raped her,” she said.
The victim’s nanny caught the suspects in the act and immediately informed the victim’s mother.
Both suspects are neighbours of the victim and have not been arrested at this time.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
