AN ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl was walking innocently from a neighbouring house when she was abducted and raped by an unknown person last week.
The incident occurred in the Uukwanyenge village in the Okaku constituency of the Oshana Region, at around 19:00.
According to the police, the minor was returning from a neighbouring house when she was approached by an unknown suspect who grabbed her, lifted her up and took her to a place where he raped her. He reportedly threatened to harm her with a stone should she offer any resistance or make any kind of noise.
The police said that the suspect, who is not arrested, was a stranger to the victim, but there is a slight possibility that she would recognize him if she sees him again.
