LUKAS Fotolela (48) died instantly after being stabbed with a knife by his 38-year-old girlfriend and mother of his three children at Omutemo village in Endola Constituency, on Thursday.
According to Crime Coordinator Deputy Commissioner Zachariah Amakali, the suspect stabbed the victim twice in the chest and once on his right arm and the deceased died on spot in his cuca shop.
Amakali stated that thereafter, she met with the brother of the deceased and she informed him of the incident.
“While the brother was trying to ascertain what had happened, the suspect attacked him with the same knife and stabbed him twice in the arm and the victim sustained injuries,” he said.
Amakali added that the suspect has already been arrested and detained at Omungwelume Police Station.
A case of murder read with domestic violence has been opened and being investigated.
