THE police in the Oshana Region are looking for a government vehicle that was stolen from a house at Oshinyadhila village near old Ongwediva on Sunday morning.
Community Affairs spokesperson Warrant Frieda Shikole, said the stolen vehicle is a Toyota GD6 double cab registration number GRN 84144.
According to Shikole, the driver drove to her house around 02:00, and when she was about to get out of the vehicle to open the gate, she was allegedly attacked by two unknown men.
“The two seemed to have been waiting for the victim at her house, and when she arrived, the suspects attacked the woman and they managed to take the car key from her and drove off,” she said.
The police are now asking for the assistance of the public in order to find the vehicle.
Shikole indicated that anyone with information about the said vehicle or saw it somewhere is requested to contact Detective Warrant officer Kahenge at 081 341 0001.
