KASITARA Ndotoro, 20, is currently fighting for his life in the Outapi State hospital after he was flocked by his 43-year-old father at Otjaandjamwenyo village in the Rucanan area on Sunday.
The suspect whose an Angolan national also sustained injuries on his head during their fighting.
Crime Investigation Coordinator deputy commissioner Moses Simaho stated the suspect allegedly beat his own son with a dry stick all over his body.
“The victim sustained serious injuries including bleeding from his nose and mouth,” he said.
Simaho added that the victim was rushed to Omonauatjihozu Health Centre in critical condition and was later transferred to Outapi.
He indicated that a case of attempted murder read with domestic violence was opened, and he has been arrested.
The suspect is expected to make his court appearance this week.
It’s still unclear at this stage what might have caused the fight, however, police investigations into the matter continues.
