TWO people were on Friday arrested at Opuwo, Kunene Region, for their alleged contravention of the Immigration Control Act.
A third foreign national is being investigated but has not been arrested yet.
According to the Police’s weekend crime report, the arrests were effected at Okondaunue location at around 12:30.
It is alleged that a 20-year-old Angolan male suspect illegally entered Namibia without documents, while a 50-year-old Zimbabwean male was found with an expired entry permit and was employed without a permit.
The third suspect, who was not yet arrested, is aged 43, a male dentist from Zimbabwe.
He is alleged to possess neither a residence nor work permit and was employing people suspected to be illegal immigrants.
“The suspect is not yet arrested pending further police investigations,” said Kuwinga.
