THE coast will most likely be very hot on Friday, with places such as !Nami#nus, Henties Bay, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay expected to record minimum temperatures ranging between 15⁰C and 16⁰C and maximum temperatures ranging between 28⁰C and 33⁰C.
This was predicted by the Namibia Meteorological Services forecaster, Richard Nashikaku, who explained that these conditions are not expected to continue during the weekend.
Walvis Bay, for instance, which is expected to record minimum and maximum temperatures of 16⁰C and 33⁰C respectively on Friday, will most likely have partly cloudy and mild conditions during the weekend. This will most likely come with minimum temperatures ranging between 10⁰C and 11⁰C and maximum temperatures ranging between 21⁰C and 22⁰C.
According to Nashikaku, the coast and the interior of the country will also experience windy conditions on Friday. With regards to the interior, a moderate to fresh north-easterly wind, which will transition into a south-westerly wind during the day, is expected. The interior is also expected to be cool at first, but otherwise sunny and warm to hot on Friday.
