THE Oshana police have requested the public to assist in tracing 27-year-old Erastus Elias Sheefeni, a security guard of Shilimela Security Services, who is wanted in connection with the recent robbery of six Angolans.
“He is tall, has a fair complexion, and is mediumweight. He used to be in Windhoek. He speaks Oshiwambo, Afrikaans and English,” Oshana community affairs officer Inspector Thomas Aiyambo said. Sheefeni was last residing at Manchester United flats in Old Ongwediva for two weeks.
The Inspector cautioned the public to be vigilant as Sheefeni is armed and considered dangerous.

Aiyambo said the suspect was supposed to be on duty Sunday but ran away, taking with him a black service shotgun, one security uniform and a Nokia smartphone belonging to Hotel Destiny which is given to the security guard on duty.
“He ran away during the morning before the victims, six Angolan nationals, were robbed at Hotel Destiny in Ongwediva,” Aiyambo said.
The two women and four men had just arrived from Oshakati and were parking their Toyota Fortuner at the hotel when they were robbed.
Items taken from the victims include two 12 Pro Max iPhones valued at N$37 931 each; one iPhone X valued at N$15 863; one Nokia C20 (N$10 000); seven Visa cards; two passports; three SADC driving licenses; one iPod (N$7 000) and a cash amount of N$10 870.
None of the items has been recovered.
Anybody with information that can help the police trace him can contact Detective Inspector Haingura at 081 294 3368, Detective Warrant Officer Josef at 081 244 5411 or the nearest police station.
“He is wanted for questioning regarding the robbery,” Aiyambo said.
