THE Oshikoto police are looking for unknown suspects who stole and abandoned a Toyota pickup at Oniipa.
The vehicle was recovered on Tuesday around 15:00.
According to police commander Armas Shivute, the vehicle was found along the road at Onethindi in the Olukonda area by community members who notified the police.
“It seems that the suspects abandoned the vehicle after the battery ran flat. It also had a defective timing belt,” he said.
He said the vehicle was handed over to the lawful owner.
Shivute said the suspects are still at large.
