18-YEAR-OLD Lorenzo-Lee Jevu is in very critical condition after the driver of the car he was a passenger in crashed into a wall in Walvis Bay in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to the Erongo police, the driver, Danten Gurirab (22), allegedly lost control of the black BMW the two were in before crashing into the boundary wall of a house in Namib Street, Narraville, around 01:40.
Both driver and passenger were seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Jevu was transferred to Windhoek for further medical treatment and is in very critical condition.
Gurirab is in stable condition.
A case of reckless and negligent driving as well as driving without a license has been opened.
