A 25-YEAR-OLD mother and her two children, aged four and six, drowned after they reportedly tried to cross an oshana but fell into a man-made hole that was not visible beneath the water.
The deceased were identified as Lea Gomases, originally from the Gochas area in the Hardap region, John Sirhute Hamutenya (4) and Chandie Gomases (6).
The incident happened on Thursday at around 17:35 at the Ontanda village in the Tsandi constituency of the Omusati region.
The next of kin have been informed.
