THE Namibian Police in Oshana are investigating a case of attempted murder after a 25-year-old man was stabbed at Ongwediva on Friday.
The victim, who is currently in the Oshakati State Hospital in a stable condition, was at Shipindo’s bar at the time of the incident.
Community Affairs Officer Inspector Thomas Aiyambo said the victim was stabbed around 23:00 by an unknown person.
“It is alleged that the victim went to ask for his change in the bar from the bar lady when a group of boys attacked him and one stabbed him with a knife in the head and back left shoulder,” he said.
Aiyambo said the complainant does not know the suspect but he and witnesses will be able to identify him.
