A 27-YEAR-OLD man was hit in his left leg by what was intended to be a warning shot at a First National Bank (FNB) ATM, behind Pick n Pay in Okahandja on Saturday.
The suspect, who works as a security guard at Southern Cross Security Services, and his colleagues were supposed to offload money at the ATM where the incident occurred.
According to the Namibian Police, the incident occurred at around 12:10 after an argument broke out between the suspect and passengers in a parked car in front of the ATM because the suspect wanted the car to move.
The police stated the attempted murder case is under investigation.
