NORTHERN musical fans where in for a treat after local musicians descendent to Gee Spot in Ongwediva for a CD launch for Chice 1.
The CD launch also attract popular musicians such as Ndawana anf Silicon, who has been in the industry for years.
Released in 2021 December, the Underrated album focuses on proving that the northern area has many talents to offer to the Namibian nations.
Hirarius Gabriel, 26, started singing back in 2010 at various Student Christ Movement (SCM), when he discovered his passion for music.
Gabriel indicated that Nox Mabane inspired him to start recording music, after Mabane released his album back in the days.
“Music speaks to me and is therapy for me. I am able to express myself through my songs,” he said.
Gabriel noted that by the end of 2022, he hope to release his second album that speaks to the youth.
Furthermore, Gabriel continues to appreciate Hamukoshi Meduletu and Tobby Shapwapo for always pushing him to his best ability and always being the biggest support system.
