An official warning issued by the Ministry of Works and Transport states that the northeastern, central and southern regions can expect heavy rainstorms of more than 50 mm over the weekend.
According to Namibia Meteorology Service’s Chief Meteorological Technician, “the tropical depression will cause and continue with significant rainfall” in the Zambezi, Kavango East, Kavango West, Ohangwena, Otjozondjupa, Khomas, Hardap and //Karas regions.
